Olin Biotech announced that a nationwide multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase III clinical trial of the recombinant Staphylococcus aureus vaccine developed in collaboration with the PLA Army Military Medical University has been completed. The results showed that the clinical protective efficacy of the recombinant Staphylococcus aureus vaccine phase III was 73.25%, which exceeded the expected indicators. Adverse reactions were mainly common. The incidence of grade 3 AE in the vaccine group and placebo group was 2.96% and 3.23%, respectively, and the incidence of grade 4 AE was 0.03% and 0.07%, respectively. Levels of specific antibodies and functional antibodies peaked on the 14th day after the first dose was released, and remained high on the 42nd day after surgery.
