The actively managed ETF aims to deliver long-term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of emerging markets equities. The strategy typically holds between 180 and 280 stocks and relies on the firm's proprietary fundamental research platform, which gathers high-conviction ideas from its global equity research analysts.

Research-Driven Strategy

TEMR follows the same structured research approach used in other ETFs in the firm's lineup, including the T. Rowe Price U.S. Equity Research ETF (NYSE:TSPA) and the T. Rowe Price International Equity Research ETF (NYSE:TIER).

The methodology focuses on active stock selection based on analysts' "best ideas" across sectors and regions, with a structured portfolio construction process designed to balance risk while capturing growth opportunities.

The fund carries a net expense ratio of 0.40%.

Expanding Active ETF Footprint

With the debut of TEMR, T. Rowe Price now offers 32 active ETFs, including 22 equity funds and 10 fixed-income strategies.

According to Tim Coyne, the firm's global head of ETFs, the launch gives investors exposure to growth opportunities across emerging markets through the firm's established research-driven approach.

The new ETF also reflects the firm's push to equip financial advisors with differentiated investment vehicles. Kevin Collins, head of U.S. intermediaries, said the strategy aims to help diversify portfolios while capturing long-term growth opportunities across developing economies.

As of Feb 28, T. Rowe Price manages $1.8 trillion in client assets, with roughly two-thirds tied to retirement-related investments, underscoring its long-standing focus on long-term portfolio growth.
