What is the account maintenance fee?

It is a $0.70 CAD monthly fee that supports general account upkeep including, but not limited to, routine account management and standard tax reporting. The fee applies to any account with a positive cash balance or an open position. If there isn't enough cash to cover the fee, it will place your account into a debit (negative) balance, which accrues interest. Please plan accordingly. If your account has no cash and no open positions, no fee is charged for that month.
