Requesting Removal of a Trading Restriction on a Security

If a security you want to trade is restricted, you may request a removal of restriction by using one of the methods below.

Please include the materials in your request:

✅Security name and ticker (for each security)

✅Brief note: "Request to remove trading restriction”

Mobile App

• Menu > Help Centre > Contact Us > Request Support
• Select any of your brokerage accounts
• Message: “Security Restriction Removal — [Security Name/Ticker]”

Email

• From the email in your Webull profile, generate an email to: "support@webull.ca"
• Subject: “Security Restriction Removal”
• Body: “Please review and remove the trading restriction for [Security Name/Ticker]."

Phone

• Call 1-888-228-0958 (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:15 PM EST)
• Choose your language, then press #2 for Trading/Operations
• Provide the security name/ticker(s)

Important notes

Restrictions may be due to recent corporate actions, required risk review, thinly traded securities, or lack of support from our carrying broker/trading venues.

Removal of restrictions is not guaranteed, and each request is reviewed case by case. If restrictions can be removed, it may take additional time for the changes to take effect.
