ATON Transfer Checklist

General Information:

To ensure that your account transfer from another brokerage arrives without any unnecessary delays, please ensure the following conditions are met:

  • You've initiated the transfer request from the correct account (TFSA, RRSP, Margin account, or Cash account) - it's important to note that the transfer will be rejected if the transfer isn't initiated in the correct account type.
  • You've checked with the delivering brokerage if there are any holds on your account.
  • Your Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, SIN, Residential Address) is all up to date and matches both at Webull and with your account at the delivering brokerage. If there are any changes that must be made, you can change your information in the Account and Security section, in your Settings.

If You're Initiating an All In-Kind Account Transfer:

Please ensure that your account does not contain the following investment products:

1. Fractional or Partial Shares.

2. Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs) or Mutual Funds

3. Options or Debentures

4. Fixed Income Securities

5. Private Investments

Any of these investment products transferred to your Webull account will result in a rejection or an account transfer reversal. To ensure that your account holdings get transferred over, you can liquidate the ineligible assets from your other account, or alternatively reinitiate a partial account transfer request, leaving those assets behind.

If You're Initiating a Partial Transfer:

Please ensure that your account being transferred over holds all assets listed in your transfer request. Please note that if you're attempting to transfer the totality of your holdings, you will need to initiate a full account transfer instead.
