How do I initiate an internal cash transfer?

Internal cash transfers in both CAD and USD are available on all Webull Canada platforms within eligible account types. You can transfer internally up to the full amount that is available to withdraw. Below are the steps to initiate an internal cash transfer on the Webull platform:

App:

1. Tap on the Webull logo (bottom center).

2. Select the receiving account you wish to transfer to.

3. Select Transfers ➝ Transfer Money.

4. Tap Choose an Account to select where to transfer from.

5. Enter the transfer amount, tap Review and Submit.

Desktop:

1. Navigate to Account.

2. Under the Banking widget, click Deposit.

3. Select Webull Account.

4. Fill in the Deposit From, Deposit To, and Amount sections.

5. Click Submit.

Web:

1. Navigate to My Account.

2. Select Deposit ➝ Webull Account.

3. Fill in the Deposit From, Deposit To, and Amount sections.

4. Click Submit.

Which accounts can I internally transfer cash from?

With Webull Canada's internal cash transfer tool, you can transfer from your Cash, Margin and TFSA account. Deregistration requests from RRSP's are not supported through internal cash transfers.

When can I initiate an internal cash transfer?

Funds that you'd like to transfer internally must be available to withdraw. This means that cash proceeds from trades must be completely settled (following the T+1 rule) and deposits must have completed the holding period.

For deposits, the hold periods are as follows:

- e-Transfers: 1 business day after the deposit date.

- EFT deposits: 7 business days after the deposit date.

- Wire deposits: 1 business day after the deposit date.

Am I able to transfer my shares in-kind between my brokerage accounts?

Webull Canada currently does not support the transferring of shares between brokerage accounts.

Can I internally transfer USD to my TFSA or RRSP account(s)?

No, only CAD can be internally transferred into a registered account type.

I accidentally performed the wrong internal transfer, can this be reversed?

Internal transfers cannot be reversed once they are completed.

I accidentally submitted an internal contribution into my registered account, can I cancel it?

Unfortunately, internal contributions to registered accounts cannot be cancelled. Please ensure you select the appropriate account prior to initiating the internal transfer.

How long does it take for my internal transfer to be completed?

Internal cash transfers are typically processed almost instantly; however, in some cases, it may take up to 1 business day for the transfer to be completed.

Please note that this transfer takes 1 business day to reflect in your Funds Record.
