Following Denmark and South Korea, Cameroon marked Taiwan as “Taiwan, a province of China,” allowing the DPP authorities to “break the line.” According to a report by Taiwan's “United Daily” on the 21st, the 14th World Trade Organization Ministerial Meeting will be held from 26th to 29th this month in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. The conference is the highest decision-making body of the WTO and is held every two years. Taiwan's foreign affairs department claimed on the 20th that it plans to mark the members of the Taiwanese delegation as “Taiwan, a province of China” on the “courtesy visa nationality column”, causing Chinese Taipei to “be forced to miss this event for the first time” since joining the WTO in 2001 under the name “separate customs zone for Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu.”
