In mid-March, the 10th Sino-Vietnamese border defense friendship exchange event will be held in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Vietnam's Quang Ninh Province, relevant regions, ports and Beibu Gulf waters. Meanwhile, the two sides will organize joint patrols and joint training with naval fleet formations, free border consultations, border military and civilian cultural and sports events, and lay wreaths at the monument to the martyrs of the Chinese and Vietnamese People's Revolutions. The event will further enhance the traditional friendship between the two armies, strengthen exchanges and mutual trust between personnel at all levels of the two armies, deepen practical cooperation between the two sides, and enhance their ability to jointly maintain border and related maritime security.
