02:55 AM EST, 01/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Afyren (ALAFY.PA) said Thursday it received 7 million euros of additional financing for its first industrial plant, the Afyren Neoxy facility in France. The new financing includes the 4 million euros remaining from a 10 million-euro sustainability-linked facility that the green technology company obtained in December 2024 from a banking syndicate. The latest drawdown is sourced from BNP Paribas, Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Société Générale, Caisse d' Épargne et de Prévoyance Rhône-Alpes, and LCL. The company also received the remaining 3 million euros of the 9 million-euro new industry loan provided by Bpifrance in November 2024. The latest drawdown has a term of 15 years, with a three-year grace period. Afyren Neoxy is a joint venture between Afyren and Bpifrance's SPI fund. The plant produces biobased acids.
