Brain-computer interface medical service projects in Sichuan Province are divided into two categories: invasive and non-invasive, with a total of 3 independent projects. Among them, the “intrusive brain-computer interface implantation fee” project refers to collecting neural signals in real time by placing a brain-computer interface system into the cerebral cortex or specific neural regions to achieve information interaction between the brain and external devices. The prices for provincial public medical institutions are: 3,583 yuan/time for 3B, 6035 yuan/time for 3B, 5,486 yuan/time for 2B, 4,937 yuan/time for 2B and below, and 4,389 yuan/time for 2B and below. The stated price covers the consumption of human resources and basic material resources required for procedures such as surgical planning, preparation of the surgical area, disinfection of towels, positioning, puncture or incision, EEG placement, parameter adjustment, signal debugging and verification, fixation and suturing.
