Today, however, due to historically high inflation caused by Biden and congressional Democrats, this American dream is becoming an increasingly unattainable luxury for too many people, especially the younger generation in America. For this reason, and for many other reasons, I will take immediate steps to ban large institutional investors from buying more single-family homes, and will call on Congress to enact this move. Housing is meant for people to live in, not for businesses to stock up on. In two weeks, I will discuss this topic in my Davos presentation, including proposing more solutions on housing security and affordability, as well as other related initiatives.
