MSD announced on January 7 that its subsidiary has successfully completed a cash tender acquisition of all common shares of Cidara Therapeutics. In November 2025, MSD and Cidara reached a final agreement. Under the agreement, MSD will acquire Cidara through its subsidiaries in cash of US$221.50 per share, with a total transaction amount of approximately US$9.2 billion.
