06:34 AM EST, 01/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- US companies Quantum Capital Group and Chevron are reportedly teaming up to bid for the whole portfolio of Lukoil's international assets valued at $22 billion, London's Financial Times reported Wednesday. People familiar with the matter told the news outlet that the assets include oil and gas production, refining facilities, and over 2,000 filling stations in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, all of which are intended for long-term ownership and operation by the potential partners. The private equity firm is said to be leading the offer and buying the assets in partnership with UK-based Artemis Energy.
