On January 6, the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism solicited public comments on the “Implementation Plan on Accelerating the Construction of a Modern Cultural Tourism Industry System and Promoting the Construction of a Strong Cultural Tourism Province”. The draft for solicitation of comments mentioned that the cultural tourism industry in the province will strive to account for more than 10% of GDP in value added by the end of 2030, to truly make the cultural tourism industry a pillar industry, a private industry, and a happy industry, and lay a decisive foundation for the full construction of a strong cultural tourism province and a world cultural tourist destination.
