At CES, Qualcomm Technology today announced its expanded IoT product portfolio, which includes the new Qualcomm Dragon Wing™ Q series processors. With the addition of new services and developer products, and the acquisition of Augentix, Arduino, Edge Impulse, FocusAI, and Foundries.io within the past 18 months, Qualcomm now has the vision to meet the needs of a wider range of IoT customers, from global enterprises to independent local developers. The vision is to become the preferred supplier of core edge computing and artificial intelligence technology in all industrial and embedded fields. Nakul Duggal, executive vice president and group general manager of Qualcomm Technology's automotive, industrial and embedded IoT and robotics, said, “At Qualcomm, we are not only launching new products, but also introducing a comprehensive new approach to help organizations of almost all sizes and industries benefit from artificial intelligence and edge computing in their pursuit of efficiency and new opportunities.” Nakul Duggal, executive vice president and group general manager of Qualcomm Technologies' automotive, industrial and embedded IoT and robotics business, said. “Our expanded industrial and embedded IoT product portfolio, combined with a strong developer ecosystem, positions us as the ultimate platform for building intelligent, connected business solutions, and is in a scalable position.”
