According to the “Customs Release”, on January 5, 2026, China Customs and Swiss Customs officially launched the automatic exchange of AEO enterprise information. The core change of this initiative is to upgrade AEO enterprise information exchange between the two countries' customs from manual exchange to automatic system exchange, from once a month to once a day, significantly improving the timeliness, accuracy and safety of information exchange, helping enterprises of the two countries enjoy mutual recognition and convenience measures in a more timely and faster manner, and further improving customs clearance efficiency.
