Guangdong Electric Power A announced on January 4 that the three units of the Shajiao C Power Plant 3×660MW coal-fired power generation project operated by Guangdong Guanghe Electric Power Co., Ltd., an indirect holding subsidiary of the company, have been phased out in an orderly manner on December 31, 2025. As of the first three quarters of 2025, the company controlled an installed capacity of 405.593 million kilowatts, and the total installed capacity of the Shajiao C Power Plant was 1.98 million kilowatts, accounting for 4.88% of the installed capacity owned by the company. The shutdown of the Shajiao C power plant will not affect the company's continued stable operation. The company will properly carry out related work such as employee placement and asset disposal after the power plant is shut down.
