The average elevation of the power plant site exceeds 4,400 meters, the highest altitude is 4,700 meters, and the total installed capacity is 1 million kilowatts. The Suorong Photovoltaic Power Plant is the core part of the integrated hydro-landscape base in the Yalong River Basin. Together with the Kola Photovoltaic Power Station and the Lianghekou Hydropower Station, they have built a world-class water-light complementary project of “3 million kilowatts of hydropower+3 million kilowatts of photovoltaics”. The power plant generates an average of 2 billion kilowatts per year, saving 590,000 tons of standard coal and 1.63 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.
