The adjustment of the total ban on fireworks and firecrackers in Shanxi Province attracted public attention. Recently, many parts of the province have successively announced implementation rules prohibiting and restricting the release of fireworks and firecrackers. The notice clearly states that the areas where fireworks are prohibited are from the east to the East Outer Ring Road - National Highway 108, the south to the South Outer Ring Road - National Highway 108, the west to the West Ring Road, and the north to the North Ring Road - National Highway 108, including the above four roads. In addition to designating prohibited areas, fireworks and firecrackers are also prohibited in and around places such as cultural relics protection units, transportation hubs, and railway line safety protection zones. In Linfen, with the exception of the prohibited areas, the rest of the areas are restricted areas. The permitted release period is July 23, New Year's Eve to the first day of the new year, the fifth day of the new year, and the 15th of the first month of the new year. The notice clearly states that no unit or individual may set off fireworks and firecrackers within prohibited areas and beyond the time allowed in restricted areas. The notice suggests that each county people's government and the Linfen Economic Development Zone Management Committee should determine the time and area where fireworks are prohibited or restricted according to the actual situation in their jurisdiction, and make announcements to the public.
