On December 31, 2025, the annual passenger throughput of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport surpassed 50 million passengers for the first time, officially joining the global “50 million club”. As the first airport in the Midwest to achieve simultaneous operation of four runways, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport completed a new operating pattern of “3 terminals+1 satellite hall+4 runways” in 2025, which played an important supporting role in achieving both passenger and cargo breakthroughs. As of December 25, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is actually flying 38 international passenger routes, 200 flights per week; it is actually flying 21 international cargo routes, 70 flights per week, and global connectivity continues to improve.
