Kherson Regional Chief Executive Sardo said on January 1st that Ukrainian armed forces drones attacked a cafe and a hotel on the Black Sea coast in the region on New Year's Eve. According to preliminary statistics, at least 24 people have died and more than 50 have been injured as a result of the attack. Saldo said on social media that the attack almost happened when the New Year bell rang, and the exact number of casualties caused has yet to be verified. The fire caused by the attack was not extinguished until the early morning of January 1, and medical personnel are doing their best to rescue the wounded. The Ukrainian side made no public statement on the attack.
