Crude oil production from the richest oil field in Venezuela is falling continuously. According to internal data from PetroVenezuela, crude oil production in the Orinoco Heavy Oil Belt fell to 49.81.31 million barrels per day on December 29, a decrease of 25% from two weeks ago. As oil storage space is about to run out and the oil export process is blocked, the state-owned oil company has begun to close oil wells in some oil fields. The Orinoco Heavy Oil Belt mainly produces heavy crude oil and heavy crude oil, and its production has long accounted for nearly two-thirds of Venezuela's total crude oil production.
