European gas prices have rebounded, having previously fallen at the beginning of this week. The Dutch TTF gas futures contract rose 1.8% to €28.02 per megawatt hour, and the benchmark price is expected to record a decline of around 44.5% for the whole year. According to the industry organization European Gas Infrastructure, the entire EU's gas inventory level is about 63%, which is lower than the seasonal average, but the supply situation is still loose. Adequate supply is sufficient to handle the cold weather, keeping European gas prices within a narrow range this month.
