This highway, which connects large and small Liangshan, will rewrite the history of blockages in Yi Township and put local rural revitalization on the “fast track.” The total length of this section of the highway is about 152 kilometers, the bridge-tunnel ratio is as high as 82%, and the total estimated investment is 33.532 billion yuan. Its opening will shorten the drive from Zhaojue County to Mabian County from the past 5 hours to 1.5 hours. The journey from Zhaojue to Chengdu will also be shortened from 9 hours to 4 hours. In the future, after the opening of the connected Zhaojue-Xichang Expressway, another major traffic artery will be added between the Chengdu Plain and the Panxi region.
