The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Tuesday, Intel (INTC.US) rose more than 2% to $37.68. According to the news, Intel said in documents on Monday that Nvidia has purchased 5 billion US dollars worth of Intel shares and completed a deal announced in September. According to Monday's documents, the company with the highest market capitalization in the world has purchased more than 214.7 million Intel shares through private placement at the price set in the September agreement. According to a notice issued by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in early December, the US antitrust agency has approved Nvidia's investment in Intel.

According to previous arrangements, Nvidia bought common Intel shares at a price of 23.28 US dollars per share (about 163.3 yuan at the current exchange rate). The market generally believes that this investment provided Intel with a critical financial buffer at a time when pressured by strategic misjudgment and intense capacity expansion.
