According to the joint decision of the State Intellectual Property Office of China, the European Patent Office, the Japan Patent Office, the Korean Intellectual Property Office, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the pilot patent examination highway project of the five bureaus of China, the US, Europe, Japan, and South Korea will be extended for another three years from January 6, 2026, until January 5, 2029. The requirements and procedures for applicants to submit PPH requests under the pilot project remain unchanged.
