New Focus (00360) subsidiary acquires land use rights in Qingpu District of Shanghai for 46.34 million yuan

Zhitong Finance App News, New Focus (00360) announced that on December 30, 2025, Newfox Technology (Shanghai), a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, won a bid for land use rights for the land (lot number: QPC1-0011 unit H-27-13) located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, China through a public tender. Newfox Technology (Shanghai) signed a land use concession contract with the Shanghai Qingpu District Planning and Natural Resources Bureau on December 30, 2025 for the acquisition.

The land is located on a plot of land in Xianghuaqiao Street, Qingpu District, Shanghai, China (lot number: H-27-13, Unit QPC1-0011). The plot runs east to plots H-27-07b and H-27-08, south to Luxingjing, west to Zhaotun Port, and north to Tianying Road. The total land area is about 38,600 square meters.

The Group received an expropriation notice from the Shanghai Qingpu Industrial Park Expropriation and Compensation Office in May 2024, and Newfox Optoelectronics (Shanghai), the Group's manufacturing operator, entered into an expropriation compensation agreement with Qingpu Industrial Park Group on November 22, 2024. The expropriated property is the core operation and production site of Newfox Optoelectronics (Shanghai). The expropriation will affect the continuity and stability of Newfox Optoelectronics (Shanghai) production and operation. The Group urgently needs to purchase new land to deploy relevant production and operation facilities to ensure the normal operation of production and operation. At the same time, the acquisition also helped meet the requirements of Newfox Optoelectronics (Shanghai) as a production base in Shanghai, China, as agreed under the supplementary agreement to the capital increase agreement disclosed in the company's announcement dated December 30, 2025.
