Caspian Sunrise Lands Tax Cuts at Kazakhstan Deep Structures; Licenses Renewed

03:00 AM EST, 12/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Caspian Sunrise (CASP.L) said Tuesday that the Kazakh government awarded tax concessions for the development of its 99%-owned BNG contract area project. Following the concessions, the Kazakh Ministry of Energy issued new appraisal licenses for the two deep structures located at the project. The ministry renewed appraisal licenses for the Airshagyl and Yelemes deep structures for three and two years, respectively. The appraisal licenses would be converted into 25-year production licenses upon reaching certain drilling levels at the structures.
