CNOOC announced on December 30 that the cumulative oil and gas equivalent production volume of the Hainan Island offshore gas field in 2025 exceeded 10 million tons, a record high, doubling production from the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Li Yuexi, manager of the production department of CNOOC Hainan Branch, said that the company's production management team has adopted a number of management measures, on the one hand, to maintain high production and stable production in gas production fields, carry out in-depth excavation of “old gas fields” that have already been put into operation, promote the application of successful practical experiences such as “decompression production” to effectively improve the recovery rate of offshore offshore gas fields; on the other hand, promote the orderly construction of new construction projects to ensure the smooth commissioning of key projects such as “Deep Sea 1” Phase II to explore the scientific path of long-term stable production and increase production in complex offshore oil and gas reservoirs. Furthermore, in order to increase production by leaps and bounds, CNOOC has also established an offshore gas production supply and marketing network covering the coastal region of South China, operated a multi-gas source scheduling decision system and implemented a 24-hour scheduling mechanism. Supply and demand management is carried out through big data analysis and other digital intelligent means, which can accurately adjust upstream production conditions according to changes in downstream demand, and basically achieve “full production and sale” of offshore natural gas.
