On December 29, local time, the Nicaraguan government sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin to express solidarity with the Ukrainian drone attack on his official residence in Putin Novgorod. In his letter, President Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua wrote: “We express our strongest solidarity with you and condemn the terrorist attack carried out by Ukraine on the residential complex of your presidential palace. We highly appreciate the tireless efforts and actions of the Russian Federation, headed by you, to achieve the peace we so desperately need through dialogue and negotiations.”
