On December 29, local time, digital infrastructure developer and operator Applied Digital announced that it would split its cloud computing business and signed a non-binding terms agreement on the proposed business merger with EKSO. Applied Digital said that after the transaction is completed, the new company will operate under the name “Chronoscale Corporation.” After the merger, Applied Digital will hold approximately 97% of the new company's shares. The proposed transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
