Izwan Hasli appointed as PNB Merdeka Ventures CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd (PNBMV) has appointed Datuk Izwan Hasli Mohd Ibrahim as its new chief executive officer (CEO) from Jan 1, 2026.

In a statement, PNBMV said Izwan takes the helm at a defining moment for the Merdeka 118 precinct, guiding its development into a globally recognised integrated hub for commerce, culture, heritage and community in Kuala Lumpur.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience across prominent Malaysian companies such as Petroliam Nasional Bhd, KLCC Group of Companies and Putrajaya Holdings, Izwan brings a track record that spans real estate development, asset management, oil and gas, and technology. This includes managing iconic national assets, master-planning major townships and precincts, and steering organisations through digital and operational transformation.

Before joining PNBMV, Izwan served as CEO of Putrajaya Holdings, overseeing residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and utilities businesses, while shaping Malaysia’s federal administrative capital into a modern, sustainable township.

Prior to that, as executive director of KLCC Urusharta, he managed international landmarks such as the PETRONAS Twin Towers and the wider KLCC Precinct, contributing to operational excellence and long-term asset value creation.

“Izwan brings deep experience in managing high-value internationally benchmarked developments including his stewardship of one of Malaysia’s most globally recognised precincts.
