IFA Says Unaware of IPO Preparations for Umm Al Hayman Unit

11:23 AM EST, 12/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Financial Advisors (DFM:IFA), d/b/a IFA, said Monday it has no information about the preparations that are reportedly being carried out by Kuwait's Public-Private Partnership Projects Authority for the initial public offering of Umm Al Hayman Wastewater Treatment Co. The Kuwait- and Dubai-listed investment company, which owns a 40% stake in Umm Al Hayman with WTE Wassertechnik, added that it only learned about the government's IPO efforts through local media reports that were published on the same day. In a separate filing in response to a query from Boursa Kuwait, IFA also noted that that aside from the IPO chatter, there are no developments that would explain the unusual trading activity of its shares on the Kuwaiti exchange, where it closed 1% in the green.
