According to Zijin Mining, on December 29, the main project construction and core equipment installation of the second phase of the Tibet Julong Copper Mine renovation and expansion project were all completed and successfully linked for testing, taking a critical step before production was put into operation. After the second phase is fully completed, production capacity for processing 200,000 tons of ore per day will be added. At that time, the total daily processing capacity of Dragon Phase I and Phase II will reach 350,000 tons, which is equivalent to rebuilding 1.3 “Dragons”.
