China Shenhua (01088): Qingyuan Phase II No. 3 generator set passed 168 hours of trial operation

According to Zhitong Finance App, China Shenhua (01088) issued an announcement. Recently, China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd. (the Company) holds 67% of the holding subsidiary Guoneng Qingyuan Power Generation Co., Ltd. (Qingyuan Phase II), successfully passed 168 hours of trial operation and was officially put into commercial operation.

Qingyuan Phase II is located in Shakou Town, Yingde City, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province. It is planned to build 2 1,000,000-kilowatt ultra-supercritical secondary reheating coal-fired power generators. It is a key energy security project of Guangdong Province's “14th Five-Year Plan”. The project uses high-efficiency clean coal power technology and is designed to consume 262.23 g/kwh of coal power supply, which can achieve ultra-low emissions of air pollutants and zero waste water emissions.

Currently, the construction of the Qingyuan Phase II No. 4 generator set is progressing steadily, and it is scheduled to be put into operation in February 2026. After the entire project is put into operation, it will effectively relieve the pressure on energy supply in the region and provide a guarantee for energy security in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
