Sanfu Co., Ltd. (603938.SH): The wholly-owned subsidiary “Ethyl Orthosilicate Filling and Storage Project” passed the inspection

Zhitong Finance App News, Sanfu Co., Ltd. (603938.SH) announced that the company recently achieved a production and filling capacity of 8,000 tons/year of high-purity ethyl silicate. Among them, the holding subsidiary Tangshan Sanfu New Materials Co., Ltd. (“Sanfu New Materials”) expanded the “high purity ethyl silicate production line with an annual output of 8,000 tons”, which has been built and put into operation; the wholly-owned subsidiary Tangshan Sanfu Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. (“Sanfu Electronic Materials”) has recently completed construction and passed the inspection, and obtained relevant approval.

According to the announcement, high-purity ethyl silicate products use the company's electronic-grade silicon tetrachloride as a raw material. After production of Sanfu New Materials, they are transported through pipelines to Sanfu Electronic Materials for filling and storage. At present, the product has been successfully delivered to major domestic customers and samples have been sent to international customers. The product quality meets customer requirements and forms an import substitution.

According to reports, this product is a raw material for electron-grade ethyl orthosilicate, and is also used in fields such as silicon carbide and high-purity synthetic quartz. Electron-grade ethyl orthosilicate is a silicon-based precursor material for semiconductors, mainly used in memory chips, logic chips, etc. There is some synergy between high-purity ethyl silicate and Sanfu Electronic Materials' existing electronic specialty gas products downstream. Using Sanfu Electronic Materials' mature electronic grade product management system is conducive to better serving downstream customers.
