According to Xinhua News Agency, China Agricultural Development Group Co., Ltd., China Huadian Group Co., Ltd. and China Chengtong Holding Group Co., Ltd. held commencement ceremonies for headquarters projects in Xiong'an New Area from December 25 to 28. Up to now, construction has begun on all four central enterprise headquarters evacuated to Xiong'an in the second batch. As a centralized carrier for Beijing's non-capital functional relief, Xiong'an New Area achieved remarkable results during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period. China Starnet headquarters and affiliated companies settled in October 2024; China Sinochem and China Huaneng officially moved to Xiong'an on October 9 this year; the main structure of the China Mining Headquarters project was capped, and interior decoration work is being carried out urgently; construction of the China Datang Xiong'an headquarters project began this year. Up to now, eight central enterprise headquarters have been evacuated and settled in Xiong'an. Wu Bo, deputy secretary of the Xiong'an New Area Party Working Committee and executive deputy director of the Management Committee, explained that Xiong'an New Area insists on undertaking relief to drive regional development, lead scientific and technological innovation, accelerate industry and factor gathering, and promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation. Currently, more than 400 central enterprise branches and more than 4,000 Beijing-origin enterprises have landed in Xiong'an.
