According to data from the website, as of 12:00 p.m. EST on the same day, a total of 1,097 flights across the US had been cancelled and 3608 flights were delayed. The US National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning in the afternoon of the same day, stating that “this storm will continue from now until early Saturday morning, bringing dangerous travel conditions to the Great Lakes region, the north-central Atlantic region, and southern New England.”
