The Enterprise Search App shows that recently, a patent for “a method, device and terminal device for determining the cause of robot failure” was announced. According to the enterprise research patent abstract, this application applies to the field of robotics technology. The method includes: first obtaining target environment data and operation data of the robot before, during, and after the failure; then generating the obstacle's running trajectory based on the target environment data; generating the robot's position based on the robot's operation data, and then determining the real cause of the robot's failure based on the obstacle's running trajectory and the robot's position. Compared with relying only on log files for fault diagnosis, the present application cross-verifies and correlates the robot's operating data with environmental data, reconstructs the complete scene where the incident occurred, and has fundamental, multi-dimensional advantages, and makes the determination of the cause of the fault more accurate; furthermore, this application performs overall fault analysis from the perspective of before, during, and after the fault, which can more accurately determine the cause of the robot's fault.
