According to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission, with the approval of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission opened a case to examine and investigate serious disciplinary violations by Wang Guoxiang, a former party group member and deputy mayor of the Ulanqab Municipal Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After investigation, Wang Guoxiang lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, violated political discipline, and opposed organizational censorship; ignored the spirit of the Eight Regulations of the Central Committee and accepted shopping cards that might affect the impartial execution of official duties; lacked organizational principles, concealed and failed to report personal matters, used position influence to arrange work for relatives; abandoned the bottom line of integrity, borrowed money from management clients and received interest; used the convenience of his position to obtain benefits for others in terms of business underwriting, cadre selection and appointment, etc., and illegally accepted huge sums of money. Wang Guoxiang seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, constituting a serious offense of office and suspected of taking bribes. Furthermore, he did not back down or quit after the 18th National Congress of the Party. The circumstances were serious and had a bad impact, and should be dealt with seriously. According to the “Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Disciplinary Punishment”, “Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China”, “Law on Administrative Disposition of Public Officials of the People's Republic of China” and other relevant regulations, the Standing Committee of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region studied and approved by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee, decided to dismiss the king Minister from his party membership; cancel the treatment he enjoyed in accordance with the regulations; seize his disciplinary and illegal proceeds; and refer the suspected crime to the procuratorial authorities for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law.
