Following the major fire (incident) at Wang Fu Yuen, Tai Po, the Group has taken the initiative to review the certification of scaffolding materials used at its site. Before the authenticity of the relevant documents has been questioned, we have requested the supplier to re-issue inspection reports according to higher standards and send samples to the laboratory for testing when the materials arrive in Hong Kong. During the inspection, one of the main contractors indicated that they were unable to contact the inspection center to obtain further information on the validity of the report. We immediately reported the case to the Hong Kong Police. If any irregularities are discovered, we reserve the right to pursue corresponding rights and interests in accordance with the law; we will continue to cooperate with the relevant departments as needed on matters involving third parties.
