Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the “Notice of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Virtual Power Plants in Our Province” and announced the first batch of 100 virtual power plant projects focusing on the construction of the first 100 virtual power plants. Among them, GCL Energy Technology is an important participant in virtual power plants. The first batch of projects involved GCL's virtual power plant, the Sino-Singapore virtual power plant, the Wuxi Guoxin virtual power plant, and three strategic cooperation projects, with a total aggregation capacity of 2,228,600 kilowatts, accounting for 13.1% of the total capacity of the first 100 projects; the total increase capacity was 845,600 kilowatts, accounting for 30.7% of the total volume. Both figures rank among the highest in Jiangsu Province. According to reports, in November of this year, GCL Energy Technology launched the “Juxing AIVP” virtual power plant platform covering the “city-operator-enterprise” three-level intelligence system, which intelligently integrates the entire process from power grid demand forecasting to transaction strategy recommendations, providing rich scenario applications and solid technical support for virtual power plants to participate in various power markets and comprehensive energy services. Relying on this platform, GCL Energy Technology will further help enterprises save energy, reduce carbon, improve quality and efficiency, and inject new momentum into the construction of a new power system and continuous optimization of the energy structure in Jiangsu Province.
