According to the “Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics”, “Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics Production and Operation” and “Measures for the Administration of Sampling Inspection of Cosmetics”, the State Drug Administration has requested drug supervision and administration departments in Liaoning, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hubei, Guangdong and other provinces to open investigations on registrants, filers, contract manufacturers, etc. involved in the cosmetics that do not comply with the regulations in accordance with the law, and ordered the relevant enterprises to take risk control measures and carry out self-inspection and rectification in accordance with the law. In accordance with the law, drug supervision and administration departments in each province shall order the relevant cosmetics operators to stop operating the above cosmetics, investigate their purchase inspection records, etc. in accordance with the law, and trace the illegal products back to the roots; seriously investigate and punish illegal acts in accordance with the law; and hand over those suspected of committing crimes to the public security authorities in accordance with the law.
