Banco BPM to Redeem EUR400 Million Additional Tier 1 Notes

04:12 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Banco BPM (BAMI.MI) said Monday that it plans to exercise a call option on its 400 million-euro 6.5% Additional Tier 1 notes, issued on Jan. 19, 2021. The Italy-based lender noted that the earliest call date under the terms of the notes, held by institutional investors, is Jan. 19, 2026. The lender has secured regulatory approval to redeem the notes and will publish a formal notice to noteholders under the required terms.
