Under this model, domestic NEVs that meet the regulatory requirements can submit an application to Hong Kong Customs and relevant government departments to apply for vehicle import pre-review and vehicle qualification approval after arriving in the Shenzhen Special Supervision Zone. After the Hong Kong authorities have completed the pre-review procedures, domestic NEVs will officially declare and leave the country and arrive in Hong Kong via road transport. After arriving in Hong Kong, they can quickly complete licensing procedures for Hong Kong citizens to use, saving more than 70% of the time and storage costs in Hong Kong compared to the traditional model.
