Recently, China Mobile joined hands with manufacturers such as Fenghuo Communications to successfully complete the first 800G current network pilot project in Sichuan Province. This pilot focuses on the core scenario of data center interconnection, closely following the strategic position of “breaking through low-cost high-speed medium- and short-range multi-wavelength coherent optical interconnection architectures and core technology, and ensuring autonomy and control in the high-end optical communication field”, with the core goal of improving transmission rate and network capacity. The core goal is to build an OTN transmission system at the four core computing power nodes of Western Cloud Computing Center, Southern District Hub Computing Center, West District Hub, and Xindu Data Center. It also relies on 130G baud rate technology to carry out 800G transmission network technology implementation and application.
