The draft revision of the Trademark Law was first submitted to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for consideration on December 22. The revised draft consists of 9 chapters and 84 articles, improving the trademark registration, management and protection system, strengthening the investigation and punishment of trademark infringement; strengthening trademark management; and clarifying the specific circumstances and penalties for maliciously applying for trademark registration.
