On December 22, the draft law on childcare services was submitted to the 19th session of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee for first review. The draft consists of 8 chapters and 76 articles, including general provisions, childcare institutions, childcare personnel, service provision, safeguard measures, supervision and administration, legal responsibilities and supplementary provisions. The enactment of the Child Care Service Law to promote and standardize the development of childcare services and provide solid legal guarantees for the weakest group of infants and young children under the age of three is an important measure to improve childbearing support policies, reduce the cost of raising families, and improve the quality of the population.
