On December 18, the 12th meeting of the China-Serbia Intergovernmental Economic and Trade Mixed Commission was held in Beijing. Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Mesarovic, Minister of Foreign and Foreign Trade Lazarevic, and Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations Ling Ji and the Serbian side presided over the meeting. The two sides positively evaluated the results of cooperation achieved since the last Mixed Economic and Trade Commission, and agreed to further release the dividends of the free trade agreement between the two countries, hold the first meeting of the investment working group as soon as possible, strengthen investment cooperation in the fields of green economy, new energy vehicles, etc., promote trade and investment integration, and strengthen cooperation in areas such as the subsequent operation of the Hungarian Railway and the 2027 Professional World Expo in Serbia. After the meeting, the two sides jointly signed the minutes of the meeting.
