The cape-type shipping price index fell 140 points, or about 3.7%, to 3,694 points, close to a one-month low. The average daily profit of cape-type vessels decreased by $1,163 to $30,637. The Panamanian shipping price index continued its decline, falling 97 points, or 6.2%, to 1,480 points, the lowest level since June 26. The average daily profit of Panama-type ships fell by 871 yuan to 13,318 US dollars. The ultra-convenient bulk carrier freight rate index fell 27 points to 1308 points.
